It’s no surprise that nature plays a vital role in fashion by adding a sense of beauty and color to it and highlighting our overall consciousness and expressive state of mind. This month we want to pay homage to nature and its textures, and turn them into an alluring piece of art. Escape your studio for a second to marvel at a moth’s wings and its iridescent metallic hues and overlapping scales, or explore a landscape of rough textured rocks and stones; celebrate the wonders of the environment we need to cherish and show us what you see.

Each winner will receive a cash prize of €200, plus one of their products when it arrives in stock. But that’s not all – each & every time we sell 500 pieces of your design, you will receive an additional €200. This means that FRS can continue to embody the spirit of fashion democracy, rewarding our top designs again…and again…and again!

We will also conduct an interview with the winner, publicizing their design across the fashion community in Berlin and worldwide.

Here comes the boring part - but we have to make sure for your best interests!

1) All the artwork has to be original and can’t have been submitted anywhere else – the bar is set high so make sure you bring your A game!

2) Please try as hard as possible to stick to our colors and theme.

3) We want pure originality and creativity but need to stick to a collection - so take a look at previous winners and see what they have created. Don't copy but use as a benchmark.

4) Over a period of 15 days, the FRS community will score and comment on your design. These scores and comments will help us decide which designs should become the next leggings for FRS.

5) A panel of judges (including our team of inhouse designers and creatives as well as a mixture of Berlin-based creatives) choose from 3 to 5 winning scarves for each design challenge, so make sure you show us what you got.

Each winner receives a one-off immediate prize of $256 / €200 / £171. plus one of their products when it arrives in stock. But that is not all - each & every time we sell 500 pieces of your design, you will receive an additional €200.
