The Winning Design Of The Front Row Society x Esperanza Spalding Collection

This past week, scarcely a day went by without us being amazed by the feedback we received from people all over the world wanting to have a say, and share their positive input with us on the newly launched Front Row Society & Esperanza Spalding collaboration! Those of you who, like us, work towards sustainable practices and support talented artists from around the world, know that it made perfect sense for us here at FRS to work with such an amazing and multi-talented artist, style icon and massive campaigner for up and coming designers with Eco and sustainable philosophies. So today, following six looooong days of voting, woops and hurrahs can be heard throughout the FRS HQ with the happy news that we have found our winning design to join the FRS family of scarves!

Inspired by aboriginal wisdom, triumph, healing and sacred knowledge, this oversize (200 x 130 cm) scarf in earthy tones is exactly what we want to be wrapped up in this summer – or this autumn, winter, spring and then summer again. Each piece will be fairly priced ($59!!!) whilst being über-chic, and eco-friendly, aiming to reduce the “carbon footprint” or total emissions of greenhouse gasses produced by manufacturing, consumption, and waste of products. If saving the world wasn’t good enough, 10% of the proceeds go to Earth Justice, a non-profit public interest law organization dedicated to protecting the magnificent places, natural resources, and wildlife of this Earth. Well, we love scarves that give back – mission accomplished!

So if you want to have a little of Esperanza’s style – and let’s be honest, you’d be mad not to – now you can as this special edition scarf will be available as of April 2013 (3 months to go –  yes, we’re counting. Aren’t you?) at Nordstrom stores in the USA and on the Front Row Society online shop.

Now, did your favorite design win? Tell us all about it in the comment section on Facebook!
